Man shot to death in West Humboldt Park: 'I couldn't just keep going'
Anthony Evans stood with a cigarette in his right hand next to the scene of a shooting that killed an 18-year-old man late Saturday evening in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Evans, 51, said his 19-year-old son went out earlier Saturday evening and was not answering his phone.
So after Evans and his wife, who live nearby, heard several gunshots and then police sirens, Evans decided to come outside to talk to police officers at the crime scene in the 4200 block of West Division Street.
