The Headline makes a great fairy tale but the truth of the matter is that old boy James was NOT shielding his mother but just trying to push her fat black ass through the door so he could get in the house and away from the gun man.
The 21-year-old and his mother, Alicia Jones, were on a porch in the 8400 block of South Colfax Avenue when a man approached from the gangway, gun in hand, and opened fire, police said.
"He used his body to shield her, to save her," said Dietra Luckett, Alicia Jones' sister.
After the shooting, Luckett said she went inside the home to find Larry Means, her brother-in-law, and bring him outside.
