The shooting happened at about 7:45 p.m. near the Pulaski Road exit, Orta said.
A black Toyota was driving south when a silver Cadillac drove up next to the Toyota and someone began shooting, Orta said. The Toyota was struck by at least one bullet but no injuries were reported, police said.
After the shooting, the Cadillac continued on and the driver got off at the Cicero Avenue exit, police said.
The right lane of the southbound Stevenson was closed from about 7:45 p.m. until 9:45 p.m., police said.
