Meyer opened up about his fellow Marines who were killed in the terrorist attack at a gun-free military recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee on the "Kelly File" Monday night.
“Terrorism is when people come and instill fear inside of people until they change their way of life," he said.
The terror attack has inspired a push to change the Dept. of Defense policy that keeps guns off installations.
“We need to give them the opportunity to carry their own firearms,” Meyer said.
Meyer called for true resolve in the ongoing battle against radical Islam.
"When are we going to stop it?" he asked. "When are we going to stand against it instead of changing our way of life?"
"What do all these people who don't want us to carry guns do when they have a problem or they have an issue? They call people with guns."
Okay Jethro, here's the thing, those "people with guns" are called the police, and folks advocating stricter gun control do not have a problem with trained law enforcement officials having weapons.
However the idea that every Tom, Dick, and Dakota with a holster strapped to their thigh is some kind of modern day Matt Dillon is ridiculous.
More guns mean more bullets. More bullets mean more death. Pretty simple of you think about it.
I think Dakota Meyer should be the poster boy for why the United States military needs to raise their standards for enlistment. The guy sounds incredibly ignorant.
And exactly when did Megyn Kelly, who many have suggested is the only true professional at a non-professional news outlet, become such a drama queen?
I mean did you hear her set up for this segment? Hell she sounds like she is channeling that crazy Judge Jeanine Pirro lunatic.
Dakota Meyer is sounding more and more like a male version of Sarah Palin every day.
