A former high school cafeteria manager who stole more than $50,000 in cash to support a gambling habit was sentenced Thursday to jail time and ordered to make restitution.


Kristy L. Davis, 49, of Naperville, quietly apologized when DuPage County Judge Robert Kleeman asked her if she wanted to say anything at the conclusion of a hearing where she pleaded guilty to theft.
