WAUKEGAN, Ill. - Two 20-year-old colored men with shaky pasts have been charged with a string of robberies at north suburban businesses — two in which they brought along a 1-year-old child, police said.

Allan L. White served as the robber while Manros Nickens III was the getaway driver in most of the incidents, according to Waukegan police. Both, of North Chicago, were charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of endangering the life of a child. White is facing six robbery counts, while Nickens was charged with four, police said.
