Now Cole says he feels victimized again. He said he received an eviction notice last month demanding he leave his handicapped-accessible apartment after the city of Chicago, which holds the lease, failed to pay nearly $20,000 in utility bills.
"It was like the bottom fell out," said Cole, 44. "I don't have the resources or the friends that help me move in a flash. I have so much hospital equipment, where would I put it? Where am I going to go?
