Person uses BB gun, fires at Pace bus on Chicago's Eisenhower Expressway

Someone used a BB gun to shoot at a special needs Pace bus Wednesday night on the Eisenhower Expressway.

The shooting happened about 11 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-290 before the Independence exit, Illinois State Police said.


One person was taken to a hospital after being injured as a result of shattered glass, police said.

The bus was carrying elderly or handicapped people.
