Courtesy of HuffPo:
A shooter opened fire on Friday at Northern Arizona University's Flagstaff campus, the school said. One person was killed and three people were injured.
The HuffPo article reveals the name of the shooter, but in deference to my President's new executive order forbidding the media from revealing the names of future shooting suspects, I will leave it off this post.
I am not technically "the media," and I don't always follow the rules, but I happen to agree with this one wholeheartedly.
Isn't interesting that as you read this story you feel a sense of relief that only ONE person was killed?
We have become to desensitized to senseless murder that our reaction to the death of one person seems barely worth acknowledging.
And that should depress all of us.
Another shooting today. How many days has it been since the last one?
