Courtesy of The Hill: "He schooled the media, and that's what the American people are craving, too," Palin, who has long bashed the mainstream media, said in the interview with Newsmax.
"The state of the media ... has been so poor and so unfair," the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said.
"We have seen such a downfall of what the media has become, that when Ted Cruz spanked them, well we know they deserved to be spanked," she added.
Cruz's campaign tweeted the video as news emerged that the Republican National Committee was suspending its debate relationship with NBC over the way the CNBC face-off was handled.
"Deserve to be spanked." Always with the subtle, and not so subtle, sexual innuendo right Sarah?
Perhaps Cruz, who is polling somewhere around 4th to 7th place in the polls, simply does not think he has anything to lose by cozying up to Palin.
After all her batshit crazy demographic is probably the same folks that Cruz is looking at for support as well. And she HAS been kissing his ass quite a lot recently.
So will this help Ted Cruz, or hurt Ted Cruz.
And since there is a snowball's chance in hell of him winning the nomination, does it even matter?
