Does it kick? I hate it when they kick. |
No politics... no punditry... no picking debate performance winners.
Today is a day to honor the bravest souls in our country's history. And it's not flat history for any father, mother, son, or daughter who understands what it takes to serve.
Please give our men and women in uniform extra thanks today, and do something tangibly appreciable for families who have sacrificed along with their heroes - our heroes - the American veteran. From Valley Forge to Falluja - to the wild battlefields of this very moment - we are blessed with freedom because of the hardened resolve of America's military.
May God bless the United States of America, and let us never forget all those who have placed their lives on the line in our defense.
Thank you, vets. You deserve the best. You honor us.
Everyday of American peace and freedom is a Veteran's Day.
Yes no politics today, which is why Palin then links to Brancy's homage to Ronald Reagan which contains this totally non-partisan statement:
Since it’s been a long time since we’ve had a President who we can respect — in terms of the military, especially — I thought it would be nice to go a little retro with Reagan.
What a bummer that the only one who Palin has to help her pander to the military today is her fake, paid for daughter, and not her military bodied son or, even sadder, the one that got away.
Dammit Bristol! We were so close! |
