I do not usually believe in bad omens, but come on!
As it turned out this happened while Trump was posing for the picture that he hoped was be on the cover of Time magazine after they chose him as their "Person of the Year."
However instead Time chose German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Which as you might imagine did not go over well with Trump.
I told you @TIME Magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the big favorite They picked person who is ruining Germany

Such a baby.Of course Trump can always take solace in the fact that a Neo-Nazi leader thinks he is the real deal:
“Donald Trump is the real deal,” said William Daniel Johnson, chairman of the openly white supremacist American Freedom Party. “This is a unique phenomenon in modern politics,” he told teleSUR. “It is a throwback to a previous era.”
So that along with Palin's recent defense, and the fact that his poll numbers shot up again, should be enough to soothe his bruised ego.
After all, it's really all about ego, isn't it?
By the way Brian Beutler over at Salon, thinks that Donald Trump has performed a kind of service to the nation.
In that he proved Liberals have been right about the Republican party all long:
On the left, the view that Republicans allowed the conservative grassroots to turn their party into a political action committee for white ressentiment has evolved over the years from an argument into a creed. Since at least 2012, liberals have been warning (at times mockingly, but never disingenuously) that by indulging and at times fanning the hostilities and procedural extremism of this part of their coalition, Republicans were letting expediency get the better of them.
When large swaths of the conservative movement resisted the notion that the GOP needed to widen its appeal to minorities, and could win by appealing to a broader base of whites, it was liberals who warned that these voters would drag the party into a racial abyss.
Trump is the fulfillment of that prophecy.
That point is driven home even further by the fact that since Trump made his remarks about keeping Muslims out of the country his poll numbers have only gone up.
Gee usually when I get to say I told you so I feel kinda please with myself.
But this time I feel a little sick to my stomach.
