POLICE DECLARE WILLIAM RUNYON ARMED AND DANGEROUS - DEADLY FORCE APPROVED FOR HIS CAPTURE
One person is arrested Sunday; another is still on the run after a fight and homicide in Peoria early Saturday morning.
Peoria Police arrested 26-year-old Colbi Schofield around 11:45 Saturday night in the 1800 block of West War Memorial Drive. She was taken to the Peoria County jail on charges of murder and aggravated battery.
Police are still looking for a second suspect, 22-year-old William Runyon. He’s wanted for murder, domestic battery and home invasion. Police say Runyon is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached in public.
The two are connected to the fight and shooting near Bradley University that killed 19-year-old Morris Thomas II and put a 24-year-old man in the hospital.
Anybody with information is asked to call Peoria police.
