Police say the officer was walking with someone in the 3100 block of North Ravenswood Avenue at 9:25 p.m. when a dark-colored SUV abruptly stopped and a group of young feral Negroes got out and approached them. The Negroes displayed handguns and demanded their belongings. The officer and his companion complied and handed over their wallets. The suspects also took his .38-caliber handgun and police star.
They dropped the police star nearby.
The suspects then got into a dark-colored SUV and drove west on Belmont Avenue.
Police say the suspects are described as three black men in their late teens or early 20’s.
They were wearing dark clothing and hoodies. Each of them was carrying a semi-automatic handgun.
