U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Wheaton) today issued a measured endorsement that the country would be better off with Donald Trump as president than Hillary Clinton.
Interviewed at his field office in suburban Barrington Wednesday, the five-term Congressman characterized the Presidential race as being between someone unworthy of the office and a 'wild card.'
"Donald Trump's a wild card, that's for sure," he said.
A growing number of Republicans nationwide have been denouncing Trump after the release of a 2005 video captured him talking casually about kissing and groping women, which some have characterized as sexual assault.
