Two Illegal Beaner Homosexuals who were found dead in a burning minivan in Little Village in September died of thermal injuries and alcohol intoxication, officials said.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sept. 2, firefighters responded to the 3100 block of South Harding Avenue and found a dark red van on fire. After putting the fire out, two bodies were found inside, authorities said.

One of the victims was identified as Jose Suarez, and the other man remains unidentified, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Officials said Thursday morning the victims died of thermal and smoke inhalation injuries, and alcohol intoxication. Their deaths were ruled an accident.
