A Fairfax County teacher and student are both facing charges after she allegedly helped him steal a six-pack of Budweiser, and then both were found with drugs and beer at her home.
Fabiana Ciammaichella, a 30-year-old Spanish teacher at South Lakes High School, is facing one possession of marijuana charges and two possession of controlled substance charges.
The student, 18-year old sophomore Adelmo Ernesto Arias, is facing one marijuana, one alcohol and one larceny charge.
Fairfax County Police say shortly before 11 p.m. Monday, Ciammaichella and Ernesto Arias were at an Exxon on Baron Cameron Ave. in Reston.
At that store, ABC7 News was told Ciammaichella attempted to buy one beer at the counter and block the vision of the clerk from where Ernesto Arias was in the back corner.
He was allegedly seen putting a six-pack of beer under his shirt. Police say he then left the store and was picked up by Ciammaichella.
