New Jersey cops are looking for an 'excessively hairy' man who they say exposed himself to a woman before running naked toward two teenage girls the following week.
A woman reported the first incident Saturday, saying a man had gotten out of his Jeep wearing only tennis shoes in Medford Township on December 21. The streaker, according to the woman, walked around the Jeep, opened the trunk, then stepped back in.
Two teenage girls then said a naked man ran toward them after getting out of a Jeep in Evesham Township on December 30, NJ.com reported. Evesham Township is about four miles away from Medford Township.
Descriptions of the man and vehicle are similar in both instances and authorities believe the same man is responsible for both incidents. Both Medford and Evesham Township police are looking for a white, heavy set man. Medford officers also said he had an excessive amount of body hair, while the man sought in the Evesham incident was described as chubby.
Both reported incidents involve a naked man stepping out of a Jeep.
A woman said she saw a man step out of a Jeep Patriot Park around 2 pm on December 21 on Huntington Circle Drive in Medford Township. The man, she said, was naked and wore only his tennis shoes as he circled around his vehicle and opened the rear hatch.
Two teenage girls said they were walking near Westerly Drive in Evesham Township when they saw a bear-chested man driving a black Jeep. They said the Jeep drove by again minutes later and stopped before a man stepped out completely naked and ran towards then. The girls told cops they ran home, NJ.com reported.
Medford Township investigators are looking for a white, heavy set man who they said had brown hair and excess body hair. They said his Jeep Patriot was an older model with a white sticker on the rear window.
Evesham Township police are also looking for a white, heavy set man. They said he is in his late 30s or early 40s, was seen driving a Jeep Cherokee, is clean shaven and has a faded haircut.
