A news tip reaching our studio for an eye witness is that a police van was set ablaze by angry youth after a cab drive was killed by the police on stop and search duty in that area. The eye witness wrote :
'The Commercial cab Driver who was allegedly push by a police officer along third east circular road by Igun junction for refusing to part with the usual fee of 100 was smashed by a trailer this morning. Angry youth at upper Igun, third east environs descend on them living some of the officers woundes as they run for their lives while their vans waa set ablaze.'
