The
City of Chicago, Illinois is divided into fifty legislative districts
or wards. Each district is represented by an alderman who is elected by
their constituency to serve a four year term. In addition to
representing the interests of their ward residents, these fifty aldermen
make up the Chicago City Council. The City Council is responsible for
handling government and affairs. You can find a

on this site. It is an easy way to stay informed about the latest issues
that are up for discussion. There is a list of the names of each

To get information about a specific alderman, click on the ward number
that the alderman represents. This opens a page which has a head shot
photo of the alderman along with their business address, phone number,
fax number and a link to a map of that specific ward and its
boundaries.Click on the link to the ward number and name for detailed
information about that ward. For example, ward one is known as the Logan
Square neighborhood. There is a map of the ward that includes icons for
popular attractions such as restaurants, parks, churches, skate parks
