A man was killed and his mother critically wounded during one of several shootings Saturday afternoon in Chicago, police said.
Police responded to a call of shots fired at noon in the 8400 block of South Colfax Avenue and found a 21-year-old man dead and a 46-year-old woman wounded, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department.
Police had earlier given another address.
