Police are asking the public for information after a man tried to lure a teenage girl into his car Thursday morning in west suburban Lisle for $3.00 and some White Castle hamburgers.
The 15-year-old girl was walking in the 4700 block of Main Street about 11:30 a.m. when a man drove up and asked her if she needed a ride, according to a statement from Lisle police.
She told him she did not want a ride, but he asked her four or five more times before driving away.
The driver is described as a man in his mid-20s, (SHE COULD TELL THE AGE OF THE OFFENDER BUT NOT WHAT RACE HE IS - Meaning he was BLACK) driving a small, gray four-door car, possibly a Honda. The exact make and model is not known, but the rear windows appeared to be tinted.
Anyone with information should call police at (630) 271-4200.
