Kathryn Ronk was already sentenced to six years in prison for having a sexual relationship with the 15-year-old, but faced additional charges relating to encounters she had with the student in other cities and townships in Macomb County.
At the sentencing on Thursday, Ronk told the judge she takes full responsibility for her actions and hopes everyone can eventually move on.
These charges relate to encounters that, police say, occurred on a Sterling Heights street and at the victim's Macomb Township home. Police say that Ronk also enticed the victim to exchange sexually explicit images and provided the victim with alcohol.
