The car involved in a Milwaukee County freeway road rage shooting that wounded a 2-month-old girl could be a maroon or darker red, newer model Lincoln MKS or MKZ four-door sedan with very dark tinted windows, the sheriff's office said Tuesday.
The shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m., Sunday on northbound I-43 south of Hampton Ave., according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
bullet fired from the car during a suspected road rage incident pierced the rear door on the victim's' vehicle and the baby's safety seat before grazing the infant, who was taken to a hospital, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
After the shooting, the car was seen exiting the ramp from northbound I-43 to Hampton Ave., according to the release.
